The Touch of Galloway: Exhibit 8

A few years ago, 317 Warren Street was one of the ugliest buildings on Hudson's main street. During the decades of blight and despair on lower Warren Street, this building had been turned into a "two-family residence." The storefront had been closed up, and there were two square windows on the ground floor, which I remember as being plexiglass. In 2002, it was purchased by someone who painted the lower half of the facade black.

Eric Galloway bought the building in 2005 and restored the facade, re-creating the period storefront. The building is now the location of Foley & Cox Home.

  1. Nice job on that building, wish I had bought it when it was for sale.
