Hudson and the River

Riverkeeper has published a map of the Hudson River Estuary that predicts the effects of sea level rise. This is a detail from it.

The map shows that South Bay will inevitably be impacted by rising water. The message seems to be that planning for South Bay should look to preserving it as a fully functioning wetland.

Thanks to Daniel Mackay for bringing this to the attention of Gossips.
