Not to Be Missed

Scott Baldinger, a newly appointed member of the Historic Preservation Commission, contemplates on his blog the news that Marina Abramovic has hired celebrated architect Rem Koolhaas to transform Hudson's 1930s Community Theater into her Center for the Preservation of Performance Art: "Synchronicity and Starchitecture."

  1. I tried to leave a comment on Scotts blog but was unable to do so.

    Beautifully written Scott.

This is what Hudson has been waiting for and deserves - finally - instead of more subsidized affairs.

  2. Thanks Carole, for posting this.I totally agree with Vincent.
Also I am very happy and relieved to hear that Scott Baldinger is now on the Historic Preservation Commission. What an excellent idea of his, right off the bat"designating the park a historic landmark , one way to focus efforts on restoring it to the elegant public space it once was"
Also thanks, for posting the news about Manhattan, Chefs Benjamin Freemole and John McCarthy from WD-50 ,opening their own restaurant, The Crimson Sparrow, a 7,300-square-foot restaurant in the “keystone building” at 764 Warren Street
    Laissez les bons temps rouler!
