What's Coming

An estimated two hundred people turned out on Sunday morning to hear about Marina Abramovic's plans for creating an institute for the preservation of performance art in Hudson. Nathan Mayberg has the story in today's Register-Star: "Public introduced to Marina Abramovic Institute." Two highlights from her comments made at the presentation and in an interview on WGXC are that Hudson needs more hotel rooms to support the work she wants to do here and she has no problem with the idea of a homeless shelter being located half a block from the institute.

The event provided the opportunity to see the model of the building's future and the ghosts of the building's past.
