Hudson in 1905: Part 23

The following is an excerpt from the booklet Illustrated Hudson, N.Y., published in 1905.

W. A. & J. C. CRAWFORD--Painters and Decorators. 440 Partition street. The members of this well-known firm are contractors of exceptionable [sic] ability and have been established in business here for twenty-five years. They are the largest contractors of their kind in the city, and give employment to a force of twelve skilled workmen. This firm has handled some of the largest contracts of their kind undertaken in the city, and the character of their work has always met with well-merited approval. Besides being actively engaged in work in the city, they have a great many contracts to perform in the surrounding country. Their warehouse at the above location is of large dimension, being two stories 50x100 feet. Messrs. Crawford undertake contracts of any dimensions, and in connection with their general work make a specialty of paper hanging.
