Hudson in 1905: Part 36

The following is an excerpt from the booklet Illustrated Hudson, N.Y., published in 1905.

F. A. ELMER--Optometrist and Jeweler. No. 548 Warren street. The above gentleman conducts one of the leading jewelry establishments of the town, and has been engaged in the business for the past fifteen years, constantly increasing his trade from year to year until his permanent success has been assured. The store is finely located in the trade section of the city, and here may be found at all times a handsome and excellent display of Jewelry, watches, clocks, plate and cut glass, diamonds and precious stones, brooches, optical goods, etc. A specialty is made of all kinds of watch repairing, for which an expert artist is in attendance. Altogether four assistants are employed in the store. Mr. Elmer is an experienced optometrist and devotes his entire attention to that branch of the business. Cash is paid for old gold. Engraving of every description is done with the utmost promptness and dispatch. All work is guaranteed to give satisfaction.
