Of Interest

This seems like old news in a city where PILOTs and tax incentives have been used since the 1970s to lure or keep businesses that are no longer here, but the New York Times recently published a series of three articles entitled "United States of Subsidies," which examines business incentives and their impact on jobs and local economies. Last night, Louise Story, the investigative reporter who worked on the series, was interviewed by Terry Gross on NPR's Fresh Air.
