Dining Out for Life

This Thursday, April 25, marks the tenth anniversary of Dining Out for Life, the annual fundraising event to benefit the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York. Eight Hudson restaurants are participating, and a couple of them are offering more than just an excellent meal with 25 percent of your bill going to help people living with HIV.

For those looking for a good party, the evening starts out with Happy Hour at Mexican Radio, from 5 to 7, presented in collaboration with the Hudson Pride Foundation. Rainbow margaritas will be on offer, along with tasty bocaditos, with DJ Lisa (Lisa Durfee of Five & Diamond) providing the soundtrack for the merrymaking.

After Happy Hour, the reveling moves to the Red Dot, where Dini Lamot (a.k.a. Musty Chiffon) and Windle Davis will be the hosts for dinner. They will be serving FREE dessert (but probably no pizza), and there is a chance that Musty may sing a song or two.

For those seeking a more restrained but no less convivial dining experience, here is the entire roster of participating Hudson restaurants from which to choose where and when you will be Dining Out for Life.
