Hudson in the New York Times

It happens with some regularity, but whenever it does, it still merits attention. Hudson's newest retail shop, Fern Handcrafted Furniture, at 243 Warren Street, was mentioned in the Home Section of the New York Times: "Contemporary Design Lands in Antiques Country."

But whodathunkit? In Hudson's tiny two square miles, there are now two shops with the same name: Gail Peachin's antique shop Fern, which has been around for more than a decade, and the retail shop of the studio Fern, which started making handcrafted furniture just four years ago in Brooklyn.

Thanks to Chad Weckler for bringing this to our attention.
