The More, the Merrier

The Hudson Pride Parade is only days away. The event's theme is derived from L. Frank Baum's Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and making their debut in the parade last year were nine giant papier-mâché heads, created by artists Ken Polinskie and Dan Rupe, representing nine characters from the classic tale. For this year's parade, Polinskie has created two new giant heads--a flying monkey and a Munchkin from the Lollipop Guild. Joe Gentile has the story in today's Register-Star: ""The Wizard of Oz' masks are inspirational."
