A House Is Not a Home . . . and Vice Versa

The juxtaposition of the two signs at 620 Union Street--in the yard and on the building--made this title irresistible.

The Home for the Aged, founded in 1883 and occupying the building at the corner of Union and Seventh streets since 1896, closed its doors about two weeks ago. The building, which was originally the residence of Robert and Sarah McKinstry, is now for sale.
