Of Interest and Importance

Brian Nearing reports in today's Times Union that Global Companies, which is shipping crude oil along the Hudson River, is being fined by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality for allegedly running six times more crude oil through its terminal on the Columbia River than its permit allowed: "Albany crude oil shipper hit with fine over West Coast terminal."
