Complete the Broadband Accessibility Survey

Here in Hudson, the contract with Mid-Hudson Media for providing cable TV service expires in June 2015, and members of the Common Council are exploring the options, one of them being building a municipal fiber network that would provide phone, cable TV, and reliable high capacity Internet access. Independent of this exploration but related to it is a survey how being conducted by the Columbia County Board of Supervisors in partnership with Congressman Chris Gibson to gather information about broadband accessibility throughout county. Compared with other places in Columbia County, Hudson is very well off when it comes to broadband accessibility, but input from Hudsonians could contribute to finding a way to address the issue countywide. The survey can be completed online here.
