Fifty Years Ago in Hudson

Gossips' mention yesterday of the Good Friday Fire of 1965, which destroyed five adjacent buildings in the 300 block of Warren Street, prompted Bruce Mitchinson to send these two pictures. Just a kid at the time, Mitchinson took the pictures on the day after the fire. The first shows the rubble that was 330 Warren Street, where Leo's Restaurant was located on the ground floor. The second shows 334 Warren Street, whose storefront was occupied in 1965 by Eddie's Variety Store, owned by Edward Goldberg.
