A Deadline Approaches

If you want to vote in the New York presidential primary on April 19, you must be registered as a Democrat or a Republican by March 25. If you are not already registered to vote, you can download a registration form here, fill it out, and mail or deliver it to the Board of Elections, 401 State Street, before March 25. If you aren't sure if you are registered or if you are registered in a major party, you can check your voter registration status here. If you are already registered and want to change your party status, it is too late to do that before the primary or even before the general election in November. To be in effect for this year's elections, such a change had to have been made before October 9, 2015.
