Hudson in the Movies

Back in the summer of 2014, Gossips reported that an independent film called King Jack was being filmed here in Hudson. Beginning tomorrow, Friday, June 10, that movie can be viewed in theaters (my sources say the Triplex Cinema in Great Barrington) and on demand. The description of the film on Rotten Tomatoes begins: "Jack is a scrappy fifteen-year-old kid stuck in a rundown small town." Watch the trailer, and you'll will see some of the locations in Hudson--most notably the 200 block of Partition Street--used to create the illusion of rundown small town.
