Promenade Hill in 1851

Today, the City is struggling to find the money to make Promenade Hill universally accessible. In 1851, there were different concerns. 

The following item was discovered in the Hudson Daily Star for June 6, 1851. It should be noted that in 1851, the stretch of the Hudson River Railroad from Hudson to Albany was under construction.
