"Heigh ho! Come to the Fair!"

This Saturday, May 6, the ninth annual Hudson Children's Book Festival happens, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Hudson Jr./Sr. High School.

Seventy-five authors and illustrators of books for children and young adults will be present at the festival. Click here for the list of those attending. Free transportation will be provided all day from various spots throughout Hudson and Greenport. Click here for the bus route and schedule. Transportation will also be provided from the parking lot at Montgomery C. Smith School, where you are encouraged to park, to the high school down the road.

The Hudson Children's Book Festival is one of the biggest book festivals in New York State. If you've never attended the book festival, head out to the high school on Saturday and experience it for yourself. Adults are not required to be accompanied by children.
