Meeting 2 with the Mayor Presumptive

Last night, mayoral candidate Rick Rector held the second in a series conversational meetings with residents of the five wards of Hudson. This time, the meeting was in the Third Ward, at House Rules Cafe. Last week's meeting in the First Ward drew a crowd of around 75 people, but fewer than 20 people showed up for the meeting in the Third Ward. For this meeting, there is no need to rely on the Register-Star or Gossips to report what questions were asked and what Rector said. Dan Udell was there with this video camera, and you can watch all that transpired here.

There is another meeting tonight in the Fourth Ward. It begins at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at the Hudson Area Library, 51 North Fifth Street.

  1. Rick was terrific. Answered questions directly, and has clearly put a lot of thought into Hudson and its various issues. Hoping that our local political culture is about to change for the better, hallelujah!
