Of Interest

It's been a couple of years since Hudson has been littered with unsolicited copies of a compendium of advertisements known as Shop & Find. A new local law regarding littering, introduced in June 2015, may have had something to do with that.

I was reminded of those days this morning when it was reported on WAMC that the publisher of the Glenns Falls Post-Star was facing seven counts of littering for distributing unsolicited copies of a free weekly newspaper: "Newspaper publisher faces legal challenge."

  1. Straight from the curb into the recycling bin... along with all the other unsolicited junk mail we get. You'd think there was no such thing as the internet. Time to move on from this archaic form of advertising.
