On a Paddle Board on the Hudson

A few days before she set out from Albany on September 6, Gossips reported on Lizzie Carr's plan to journey down the Hudson on a paddle board to raise awareness about plastic pollution: "On the River." We missed it when she passed by Hudson, but Roger Hannigan Gilson caught up with her on Sunday at Kaal Rock Park in Poughkeepsie and reported about it on the The Other Hudson Valley: "Paddleboarding Albany to NYC, Fighting Rubbish All the Way."

    Not everyone missed Ms. Carr's transit, but she was hugging the Athens shore on this leg of her excellent journey.
