Boys & Girls Clubs of America is no doubt a worthy cause, but the people of Hudson should know that the boys and girls of Hudson will not benefit in any way from this fundraising effort. Despite the fact that the sign over the door of the Hudson Youth Center still reads "Hudson Boys Club," the youth facility in Hudson hasn't been part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America for about twenty years.
Those who want to contribute to support programs for the children of our community should make their donations to Friends of Hudson Youth. Contributions can be made at the group's website: hudsonyouth.org.
