The Future of Oakdale
Yesterday, the exhibition called Oakdale: Past and Future opened in the Community Room of the Hudson Area Library, and Dan Udell was there to document the opening presentation. His video can be viewed here.
Yesterday's event wrapped up Hudson Valley Initiative's engagement with the project to rejuvenate the lake and the surrounding park. The eight concepts, initially presented in December and revised subsequently, are on display as part of the exhibition.

Tamar Adler and the people at HVI have done a great job putting some community focus on this oft-forgotten gem. I hope our city leaders find some money in the budget to support some of these much-needed upgrades. It would provide a huge quality of life benefit to the residents of Hudson.
