- On Monday, September 15, at 6:00 p.m., the Hudson Housing Authority Board of Commissioners holds its monthly meeting. As always, the meeting is an opportunity to learn more about HHA's plans for redevelopment. Maybe one of these days, we'll get to see what the new buildings are going to look like. - On Tuesday, September 16, the Property Disposition Committee of the Hudson Community Development and Planning Agency (HCDPA) holds a meeting at 5:00 p.m. The city calendar does not indicate this, but the meeting takes place in person only in the Community Room at Bliss Towers, 41 North Second Street. According to Gossips' intel, the meeting will discuss doing an RFQ (request for qualifications) or RFI (request for expressions of interest) for the development of two parcels owned by HCDPA: 6-14 State Street with 1 Lombard Street and 238 Columbia Street.
- At 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, the Common Council Finance Committee holds its monthly meeting. The meeting is a hybrid, taking place in person at City Hall and on Microsoft Teams. Click here for the link to join the meeting remotely.

- On Wednesday, September 17, the Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 6:00 p.m. The agenda for the meeting, which takes place in person only at City Hall, includes public hearings on a height variance needed for an elevator enclosure at 10-12 Warren Street, which is to be redeveloped as a hotel, and for area variances needed to allow the subdivision of 70 and 72 North Fifth Street.
- On Thursday, September 18, Third Thursdays at Olana, the free community program at the historic site's grounds and mansion, features the Camphill Hudson Players performing a new original production called The River Knows. Directed by Jody Brookes, The River Knows showcases Olana's landscape, highlighting the spectacular views and the beauty of the Hudson River. The performance takes place at 6:00 p.m. outdoors at the recently opened Frederic Church Center for Art and Landscape.
