On Friday, the City issued the following announcement:
Sidewalk replacement on the west side of S 5th Street between Warren and Union streets will begin next week. To allow the crew ample room for work and equipment, and to avoid ticketing and towing, please heed the No Parking signs that have been placed. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
At this point, "will begin next week" probably means work will start on Tuesday.
