Seems our local paper has long forgotten that lesson. I recall the days when the Register Star was an afternoon publication and people patiently waited for the delivery truck to arrive at Basen's , Young's Deli, The United Cigar Store etc. Great memories of seeing Julius, Abe and Sylvia at Basen's or George, Ken, Hamy and Aggie at Young's Deli on a daily basis.Bob Tomasohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14024327703641478866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5723709701684173708.post-5180466571968868172023-05-11T11:39:02.180-04:002023-05-11T11:39:02.180-04:00Since all good writing is rewriting... Since 2016, when we introduced 6 3d-graders to our NYT-recognized curriculum, we have taught over 500 3d, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to the 5ws, the 5 senses, the Q&A, the Press Conference, and the 8 essential elements of a front page.
