Library Board Meeting Postponed
Anyone interested enough in the fate of 400 State Street to show up for a library board meeting should know that the trustees have postponed this month's meeting, which regularly occurs on the second Wednesday of the month, to Wednesday, August 17, at 5:15 p.m. It will be remembered that at their last meeting the trustees passed two resolutions: one to begin contract negotiations with the one buyer who has expressed interest in the building (rumor has it that's Eric Galloway), and a second to negotiate a lease to rent an alternative location for the library within the City of Hudson (rumor has it that space is 217 Warren Street, Hudson Electrical Supply).
