The Party's Over . . .
but the movie continues. The Register-Star reports today on the party at Fairview Wines & Spirits that preceded the premiere screening of Fighting for Freedom and on Bruce Mitchinson's struggle to keep Fairview Cinema 3 open and profitable: "Fundraiser fuels theater's fight to live."
The movie continues its run at Fairview Cinema 3 throughout the week, with screenings at 7:05 and 9:35 every night and matinee screenings at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. By special arrangement with Chris and Kristanna Loken, half the proceeds from the screenings, after last night's premiere, benefit Fairview Cinema 3's projector fund.
I went to see Fighting For Freedom yesterday. It was a heartwarming film that touched the emotions. It may make moviegoers reconsider their stand on immigration laws.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to see the local areas featured in the film. It was an enjoyable experience, except for when a group of viewers began taking photos of the screen during the film, with cellphones with flashes. Even after being asked to refrain from their photo taking, they continued. Certainly it is a breach of copyright too. Talking on cellphones and to each other while a movie is being shown is rude to say the least. Let's be considerate of others Folks!
