Of Interest

Earlier today, on its Facebook page, the Register-Star posted a link to an article that appeared on NYup.com: "Highest-paid teachers in Upstate NY: Educators who earned the most in every county."  For each upstate county, the article lists the three teachers with the highest salaries. For Columbia County, those three teachers all work in the Hudson City School District.

    wow big salaries for a grade school !!

    it costs something like 26 thousand per student at Hudson High School.

    it costs 21 thousand to send a student to private Albany Academy.

    Albany Academy is highly rated as a good institution.

    Hudson City School District is at the bottom 10 percent of all schools in the State of New York.

    Does NYup post the "highest paid" of police, public works and other civil service employees in upstate New York? Serious question.
