You Can't Come Here from There: Update

Last week, Alaska and Montana were taken off New York's travel advisory list. This week, they're back on. There were no other changes to the list, which now includes thirty states and three territories. Travelers from these places must quarantine for fourteen days upon arriving in New York. Yesterday's press release updating the travel advisory list contained this reminder: "The quarantine applies to any person arriving from an area with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a 7-day rolling average or an area with a 10 percent or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average." It also provided this information: "New York State's infection rate has been below 1 percent for 25 straight days."
