Yesterday, in his evening Coronavirus Update, Governor Andrew Cuomo made this announcement:
We received some good news from the federal government today. The federal vaccine supply to the states will increase by about 20 percent for the next three weeks, up from the initial 16 percent expected bump in allocations. Additionally, private pharmacies in the state who are charged with prioritizing the 65-plus population will receive an additional 10 percent, or about 30,000 doses, directly from the federal government. This will supplement doses allocated to them by the State.
Here, once again, is the list of pharmacies in Columbia County that have signed up to administer the COVID vacine:
- Hannaford, 2967 U.S. Highway 9, Valatie
- Hannaford, 32 State Route 82, Hudson (Livingston)
- Price Chopper, 2614 Route 66, Chatham
- ShopRite, 351 Fairview Avenue, Hudson (Greenport)
- Walgreen, 173 Fairview Avenue, Hudson (Greenport)
- Walgreen, 15 Coleman Street, Chatham
- Walmart, 460 Fairview Avenue, Hudson (Greenport)
Would they pay Hudson City School Tax? That is the killer tax!

DeleteTo answer the question, even though it was appended to the wrong post, all property taxes--city, county, and school taxes--would be subject to the PILOT.
