The Dutchess County Board of Elections is now reporting the following information for Assembly District 106:

Didi Barrett--53.35 percent (2,220 votes)
Claire Cousin--46.63 percent (1,940 votes)

Carole Osterink: This blog takes its name from the 1848 novel by Hudson author Alice B. Neal. The original Gossips of Rivertown cast a gimlet eye on Hudson society in the mid-19th century.
