Great to see Hudson's Grey Lady (Carole), in New York's Grey Lady (NYT).
Both equally read in Hudson but one more factual than the other when it comes to Hudson.
~
Also, is Hudson Catskill Housing Coalition just going full Mayor Quimby (from The Simpsons) / Lord Farquaad (Shrek).
Always early to meet the press. But late to file with the IRS.
Is there a single group in Hudson who speaks more FOR Hudson (while getting paid to do so by non Hudson groups), but not actually carrying the support of Hudson residents.
Remember how all their candidates lost in the last election. When Claire Cousin / Quintin Cross called up the reserves for the AirBnb laws... it was crickets.
If the volunteers of the fire department, or the running club, fans of a local coffee shop, or lawful immigrants decided to follow the HCHC playbook and be obnoxiously loud / show up at meetings, they would have 10x the influence.
Maybe that is how we fix the sidewalks?
If the NYT asked people who were elected to speak on behalf of the City... there'd be a photo of Margaret Morris (1502 votes), Heather Campbell(1507 votes) and Joe Ferris (947 votes).

If they wanted to ask the most popular and observant group in Hudson they'd ask the Hudson Wail. 🐳
But it is the NYT, so let's lead with immutable traits and the oppressor / oppressed narrative.
