The Greene County Sheriff's Office has identified and located the vessel that struck the Hudson Athens Lighthouse, the department said Thursday.
After striking the lighthouse, the vessel continued south on the Hudson River and left the area, according to the press release. The sheriff's office is being assisted in its investigation by the U.S. Coast Guard and the investigation remains ongoing, officials said.
