It's Finally Time to Do a Spring Thing

It is predicted that the weather on Sunday will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the 70s. Nearly perfect weather for a first trip of the season to the Dr. Oliver Bronson House, Hudson's own and only National Historic Landmark, to hear chamber music as it was intended to be experienced.

On Sunday, May 6, Historic Hudson presents "A Concert and Conversation." The afternoon event begins at 1 p.m. with "Schubertiade: intimate chamber music on the home," a panel discussion involving Andrew Borkowski, cellist and music director of The Orchestra Now; Peter Laki, visiting associate professor of music at Bard College Conservatory of Music; and Alan Neumann, architect, historian, and president of Historic Hudson. At 2 p.m., an ensemble from The Orchestra Now will perform Schubert's String Quartet in C Major. A reception will follow the concert at 3 p.m.
