Farewell to a Piece of Hudson History

The day many have dreaded for a long time has arrived. The shacks in North Bay--the storied Furgary Boat Club--are coming down.

    Thanks for documenting what should be a Hudson preservation embarrassment: the destruction of "the shacks." What about the trees? Will they go too, another victim of our euphemistic age? --peter meyer
