The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for today. Since yesterday, there have been eleven new cases of COVID-19 and twenty recoveries, reducing the number of active cases by nine to 93. The number of people hospitalized with the virus is down by four and the number in the ICU is down by one. There has not been another death from COVID-19 in Columbia County since yesterday.
With eleven positives out of 376 test results received, the positive percentage rate for today is 2.9 percent. The seven day rolling average, according to Gossips' calculations, is 3 percent--that is, 73 positives out of 2,436 test results.
