The Historic Preservation Commission is not holding a public hearing on the proposal to replace the slate roof on the Galvan Armory with faux slate. The review of that proposal will, however, continue at today's HPC meeting.
Meanwhile, Gossips was reminded of another instance of the HPC approving faux slate for a roof. In 2020, faux slate was approved for the roof at 437 East Allen Street.
