At last night's meeting of the HCSD Board of Education, the results of the budget vote and the vote for new members of the Board of Education were reported, but there was no word on the outcome of the exit poll which asked about adding pickleball striping to the historic tennis courts at M. C. Smith.

This just proves that if HCSD was not legally forced to announced the election results within a certain timeframe and manner to the public, they would have punted and said:
ReplyDelete"Budget passed, and the board is not expecting to review, discuss, or share the data until our next board meeting on June 16th"
Working at HCSD must feel like Spirit Airlines did right before bankruptcy.
If everyone just took a sanity pill they would know that putting pickled tennis in the middle of a proud and dense and cool suburbia (where I grew up) would eventually lead to several lawsuits as houses start failing to sell or get the prices they want. THE HCSD is awash in quiet flatland to put in pickle and the new rage across the country (the winter cold parts) is to put up temp courts in gymnasiums. People love it and the noise at night (no kids) is ZERO. And it eliminates Hudson teams from hosting sanctioned events and in the end most pickleball courts are eventually totally and brutally just ripped out. I suggest Maria Suttmeir come back and have another bonfire, this time on the tennis courts. She should be in the demolition business. And maybe she is. Release the results of the poll. What is so secret?
ReplyDeleteWas there an exit poll? I did not see it. I would prefer to keep the tennis courts as they are. Maybe the school should find another location for the PB courts.
