Mayoral challenger Tiffany Martin Hamilton has released another video--this one on the subject of open, transparent, and responsive government. It can be viewed here.
Here are some suggestions: a) drop weighted voting on the Common Council and redraw the ward boundaries so that we have 7 wards and 14 council members, b) require our Youth and Aging Commissioner to go to HCSD school board meetings and represent our youth to the BOE, c) Establish a task force to study how to make our property assessment system more equitable, d) Appoint an Arts & Commerce Commissioner that reports to the Common Council ....
