The following information appeared this morning on the Hudson Police Department Facebook page:
HPD has received reports--and even our patrol officers spotted it!--of a black bear in the area of Rip Van Winkle Road and Rossman Ave. The bear ran off before officers could get a closer look, but we want to remind everyone to stay cautious.
Please keep pets inside, secure trash cans, and avoid leaving food outside. If you see the bear, don't approach it. Just give us a call.

I'd guess that's the bear that lives in the cemetery. It was in my back yard a couple of summers ago when it was a juvenile. Freaked out my dogs (and me!).
