Next Saturday, May 10, is the 6th Annual Mad Hatter's Parade. The parade steps off from the Hudson Area Library, 51 North Fifth Street, at 3:00 p.m., and wends its way through the city to Promenade Hill.
This Saturday, May 3, get ready for the parade at the Mad Hat Slam. From noon to 5:00 p.m., drop in at the Hudson Youth Center, 18 South Third Street (use the side entrance off Cherry Alley), where veteran parade artists will be on hand to get you started with basic materials and tools, as well as upcycled offcuts and assorted accoutrements. You are invited to bring your own bling, colorful accents, and accessories.
