After a week of no meetings, the week ahead, the first full week of August, has at least one meeting every day but Monday.
- On Tuesday, August 5, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Hudson observes National Night Out in Henry Hudson Riverfront Park. The event is described as "an evening celebrating unity, safety, and connection." In addition to an opportunity to meet members of the Hudson Police Department, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Hudson Fire Department, New York State Police, NY State Park Police, and Greenport Rescue Squad, the family-friendly evening offers cotton candy, popcorn, lemonade, henna tattoos, games, and a dunk tank.
