Yesterday, December 26, the following message appeared on the City of Hudson website. (The exclamation marks are as I found them.)
ATTENTION HUDSON RESIDENTS!!! The City's water plant is losing a lot of water at a high rate. This usually means there is a break somewhere. DPW has not been able to locate it, but are thinking maybe an empty house or building may have had a water line freeze and break. They are doing everything they can to keep the water levels up, but are encouraging residents to conserve water usage and be on the lookout for any leaks. Please share and thank you for your cooperation!!!!
There is no indication that the problem has yet been located and corrected.
