When you park your car for the night today, remember that, as of last weekend, alternate side of the street overnight parking is no longer suspended on weekends. Tonight, your car needs to be on the even side of the street, and tomorrow night, on the odd side.
Conveniently, the wizards on the second floor of City Hall have not yet made mention of this in the ANNOUNCEMENTS section on the city website. Why bother? What's another 16 dollar ticket for a few hundred residents?
ReplyDeleteThey did, however, in a virtual ANNOUNCEMENT last week, notify residents of the free downtown parking for this month. For that announcement, they used a stock photo found online of a parking meter NOT FOUND IN HUDSON. Let's hope it was free. Is the video of our mayor above the announcements also fake and have nothing to do with Hudson? Does the guy in that video really exist; does he really manage the City of Hudson? Does he pay his parking tickets?
Bill, in your blog, didn’t you uncover something about the mayor and him allegedly canceling his own parking tickets? I heard something about it from a friend but you took down HUDseen soon after 🥺
DeleteIndeed, Union, I caught our mayor skipping out on his parking tickets and yes, you can still read about it on HUDseen -- I reactivated my blog this morning and all the articles are still there. That article on our scofflaw in city hall was published on September 11th, one week before I decided to call it "quits." Tell your friends the news.
ReplyDeleteThough the articles won't be coming as fast, they will be just as furious.
