Minutes ago, it was reported by two different sources on Facebook that Hillary Clinton is here in Hudson, apparently lunching at Grazin'. The pictures below, one of which was posted on Facebook, are published here with permission.
Hillary Clinton told the Register-Star that “I was here in ’99 when I was a Senator.“ She wasn't elected to the Senate until November 2000, and thus did not assume office until January 2001.
(There was in fact a protest when she visited around that time, with residents demanding that she take a stand against the St. Lawrence Cement proposal—something she never did, though she promised to my face that she would during a meeting at the Capitol.)
If Hillary had spent more time in diners and less time hanging out on Martha's Vineyard with her hedge fund donors, this might be a better world.
ReplyDeletegee i thought you were going to forget mentioning bill Clinton --- he was a great president !! he was definitely here.
ReplyDeleteAnd on Chelsea's birthday no less.
