Forum Planned on Affordable Housing

A public forum on affordable housing in Hudson will take place on Thursday, February 23, at 5:30 p.m., at 1 North Front Street. The announcement of the forum states the following:
Learn about how we can make more affordable housing in Hudson a reality.
The City of Hudson is great by virtue of its diverse population: working people, families, artists, students, shopkeepers, and civil servants, whose lives cover a range of economic and cultural realities. To preserve the greatness of our city, we must create and preserve affordable housing.
But first there are challenges to address.
Learn about those challenges--technical, logistical, and financial--facing current initiatives. Discuss your ideas for new ones. And let's talk about how we can help move things forward.
The panel for the forum is so far made up of William Hughes, Fourth Ward supervisor and minority leader of the Columbia County Board of Supervisors, and Tiffany Garriga, Second Ward alderman and majority leader of the Common Council. Additional panelists are to be announced. Michael Chameides, chair of the Hudson City Democratic Committee, will moderate the forum.
