The Board of Elections has not yet announced that all the ballots have been counted, and Kamal Johnson has not yet conceded the election, but one of the mayoral candidates, Lloyd Koedding, who received 67 votes, just released this statement.
Make of it what you will.
If this were Game of Thrones, Lloyd would be the Mayor Slayer.
ReplyDeleteKamal called him, mockingly from the debate stage “Santa”... well; Santa sleighed.
Even more ironic (and poignant?) that the self-described housing Mayor, in a relationship with the Housing Justice Director, was in many ways unseated by a homeless man.
To think that Lloyd decided to run when he was, according to his own narrative, wrongly treated at the library in a kerfuffle with the local Democratic Party leader, and then snubbed by Kamal when he appealed for help.
Peter was more likely to take Joe Ferris voters, but Peter dropped out.
Lloyd took more Kamal voters.
