Here we are in the first week of August. After last week's downpour, more rain is expected at various times throughout the coming week. In the meantime, here is what's happening.
- On Monday, August 3, the Hudson Industrial Development Agency (IDA) meets at 2:00 p.m. This will be the first IDA since Mike Tucker retired and Jonathan Spampinato took his place. Last month's meeting was canceled because there was no business to be considered, so it will be interesting to see what business is now before the IDA. - On Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00 to 8:oo p.m., Hudson observes National Night Out in Henry Hudson Riverfront Park. The purpose of this community event is "to foster and celebrate police-community partnerships by bringing people closer together."
