News of Proposed Housing Nearby

Billy Shannon opens his most entry in his Substack column Middle Sphere with these lede:
In a cluster-development partnership with the Columbia Land Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity plans to build and sell 23 starter homes near Hudson in the coming years. The people who will buy the homes will get them for a price significantly lower than they'd fetch on the open market.

Titled "The Missing Rung on the Housing Ladder," the entry features an interview with Columbia County Habitat for Humanity executive director Al Bellenchia. It can be read here.

The proposed development will be located near the Habitat for Humanity ReStore on Route 23/Route 9.
